A New Season for ACT
Welcome to our beautiful Tea House located at 418 East Franklin Steet in Monroe, NC. We are so excited to share events and experiences with guests at this facility, starting in 2021. Currently under repairs and renovations, this historic house will be home base for A Cause for Tea, with a tea bar serving tea daily, and a shop stocked with our handmade products and tea accessories. Want to help? We need skilled volunteers to help renovate the house. We will need ongoing assistance with tea events. Contact us to volunteer.
Explore Musical, Culinary and Visual Arts
In partnership with the city of Monroe’s Parks and Recreation Department, in 2021 A Cause for Tea will offer an exploratory course featuring the musical, visual, and culinary arts. This course provides immersive experiences for students, exposing them to the collaborative relationship that exists between the arts and special occasions. Exposure to any of these subject areas could impact students’ interests and future educational pursuits as they explore and develop their skills, talents, senses, and sensibilities in an atmosphere of beauty, fun, and knowledge.
